There was a time when we didn’t know who we were. We lived beneath our calling, beneath our authority, beneath what God had already provided. We walked in disobedience — not always willfully, but because we didn’t know better.
But that season is over.
The moment you surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, everything changed. You didn’t just get saved from something — you were saved into something. You were adopted into the family of God, given a new name, a new nature, and a new position.
You are not a spiritual orphan. You are not a beggar at heaven’s door. You are a daughter of the Most High God — a King’s Kid — with every right and privilege that comes with that name.
Galatians 4:7 says it plainly:
“Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”
That’s not poetry. That’s your legal standing before heaven.
Think about this: when you step into a new role at work, no one expects you to keep acting like an outsider. You were hired, you were given authority, you were given access. Your job is to show up and operate in it.
That’s exactly what God is saying to you this month. You have been given a position in the Kingdom. You are a joint-heir with Jesus Christ — not a junior partner, not a maybe, not a someday. Right now. Today.
You can come boldly to the throne of grace — not timidly, not hoping He’s in a good mood. Boldly.
(Hebrews 4:16)
Jesus gave you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy.
(Luke 10:19)
“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee.”
(Job 22:28)
Your words carry Kingdom weight.
“They which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”
(Romans 5:17)
Here is what delegated authority means: The Authority Himself — God Almighty — has authorized you to act on His behalf. He has given you His Word, His Name, and His Spirit. When you speak what He has already spoken, heaven backs it up.
You are not making things up. You are not pretending. You are agreeing with what God has already declared — and releasing it into your situation, your home, your body, your family, your finances.
“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”
JOB 22:28
He is your Master. He is your Lord. And He has said: open your mouth and say what I have said.
That is not arrogance — that is obedience. That is faith. That is a King’s Kid walking in her rightful place.
“I am a child of God and an heir of His Kingdom. I have been given delegated authority in the Name of Jesus. I decree that I reign in life. I walk in my rights and privileges as a daughter of the Most High. I am that girl — and I stand in it.”
When you walk into a room, a meeting, or a hard conversation, remind yourself before you go in:
“I am a King’s Kid. I carry delegated authority. God is with me.”
Father, forgive us for the times we have lived beneath who You made us to be. We have shrunk back, stayed quiet, and forgotten our position.
Today we stand up. We receive our rights as Your daughters, our privileges as joint-heirs with Christ, and the delegated authority You have placed in our hands.
We open our mouths and we decree: Your Word is true in our lives. We reign in life through Jesus Christ. We are King’s Kids — and we will walk like it.
In Jesus’ Name — Amen.
You are not a beggar at heaven’s door. You are an heir. Stand up and walk like it.
