Life Is Lifing — But Don't You Quit

Last month we stood up in our rights and privileges as heirs of God. We opened our mouths and decreed. We walked in our delegated authority. And that is all still true this month.

But here’s the thing about being a King’s Kid — we are not just delegated to decree. We are commanded to pray.

Because life is going to life. Situations will arise. Pressure will come. There will be moments when circumstances look impossible and the enemy wants you to fold, turn coward, and quit.

Don’t quit. Don’t shrink. Don’t rehearse the problem over and over until it owns you. There is somewhere to take it — straight to the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings. Go talk to Him.

Prayer is not your last resort. Prayer is your first weapon. It is the tool God gave you to move heaven on earth — and James 5:16 tells us exactly what it does when you use it.

Your Prayer Makes Tremendous Power Available

Read that again. Not just some power. Not a little help. Tremendous power. The Amplified Bible says it is “dynamic in its working” — like dunamis, the same supernatural power we talked about last month. Explosive. Effective. World-changing.

And it is available to you — the righteous. That’s not the perfect. Not the pastor. Not the one who has it all together. The righteous — and that is every woman who is in right standing with God through Jesus Christ.

“The earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous person makes tremendous power available — dynamic in its working.”

JAMES 5:16 (AMP)

Notice the words: earnest. heartfelt. continued. This is not a casual, one-time, whispered prayer. This is a woman who brings her whole self before God and keeps showing up. That kind of prayer changes things.

“Cause your problem to meet prayer — and watch it get changed and rearranged for the good.”

Pray in the Holy Ghost — Use Every Tool He Gave You

As a King’s Kid, God has not left you to figure out prayer on your own. He gave you the Holy Spirit — and with Him, the gift of praying in new tongues.

Romans 8:26 tells us the Spirit helps our weakness — because sometimes we don’t know what to pray for. When your mind doesn’t have the words, your spirit does. When the situation is too big to articulate, the Holy Ghost knows exactly what needs to be prayed.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us.”

ROMANS 8:26

Don’t leave that gift on the table. Pray in the Holy Ghost. Pray in new tongues. Tap into the Spirit. You have been given tools that access the supernatural — use them. Get God results, not just human effort.

Put Resurrection Power to Work This Month

  1. Stop rehearsing it — pray it.
Identify the situation you keep replaying in your mind. This week, whenever you feel the urge to worry or vent, redirect it to prayer. Bring it before the King.
  2. Set a prayer time and keep it.
James 5:16 emphasizes earnest, continued prayer. Choose a time — morning, lunch, or before bed — and commit to it consistently. Consistency is key.
  3. Study powerful prayers in Scripture.
Read Acts 12 and Acts 16 this week. Observe the church praying for Peter and Paul and Silas praying at midnight. Let their examples strengthen your faith that prayer works — and works powerfully.
  4. Pray in the Spirit.
If you have the gift of tongues, use it intentionally, especially when unsure how to pray. Allow the Holy Spirit to intercede through you.
  5. Pray for someone else.
James 5:16 encourages praying for one another. This month, ask one woman in your circle: “Can I pray for you?” Then pray earnestly, aloud, and with faith.
  6. Keep a prayer journal.
Write down what you are believing God for and date each entry. Track when He answers. Nothing strengthens your prayer life more than seeing your own prayers fulfilled in writing.

Father, we come to You — the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings. We bring every situation, every pressure, every place where we have been tempted to quit.

We choose prayer over panic. We choose Your presence over our problems. We release the earnest, heartfelt prayer of the righteous — and we believe that tremendous power is being made available right now.

Holy Spirit, help us pray. Intercede through us. Move in our situations. Break every chain. Open every door. We are not pitiful — we are powerful in You.

In Jesus’ Name — Amen.

Don’t rehearse the problem. Release the prayer. You are more powerful than pitiful.
